Household Hazardous Waste
Hayward is one of four cities in Alameda County with its own Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) facility. The Hayward Facility is operated by StopWaste, an Alameda County public agency, and is free for Hayward residents.

Saturday: 9 AM - 4 PM

Drop-Off Locations for Unwanted Prescription Drugs and Medicines
Prescription drugs and medicines are not accepted at HHW. However, prescription drugs and medications can be dropped off for free at a number of self-service kiosks and pharmacy locations.
