Call for Artists – 21st Century Library & Community Learning Center

Clio Hathaway | May 19, 2016

The City of Hayward, working with art consultant Beth Jones, has released a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) or “Call for Artists” seeking locally-created display artworks for the 21st Century Library & Community Learning Center building.

Artists residing in Alameda and Contra Costa counties are invited to submit their applications for review for this exciting project (Hayward area artists will receive extra consideration). All media of artwork will be considered.

All inquiries about the RFQ should be referred to our art consultant, Beth Jones, whose contact information is contained in the RFQ document.

An additional art-related RFQ seeking a local arts agency to help curate the rotating community art gallery spaces in the new library building will be released in Summer 2016.
