Keeping Hayward Clean and Green

Measure C funding of Maintenance Services operations is giving the department the capacity to experiment, including a new program called Disposal Days. It’s providing community members an additional way to dispose of household debris, safely and legally free of charge, by bringing up to one pickup truck load of material to a City transfer station six times per year.
