The Keep Hayward Clean and Green Task Force is bringing its program of neighborhood beautification and clean-up events to Ruus Park in South Hayward starting at 8 a.m. Saturday, June 22.

Keep Hayward Clean and Green clean-up and beautification events are a great way to make a real difference, connect with neighbors, receive credit for community service hours, and learn about money- and plant-saving environmental sustainability programs.

Curbie, the Hayward Public Library bookmobile, is also scheduled to make an appearance at Ruus Park, which is located at 24919 Folsom Avenue.

All volunteers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a participating adult. Adult supervision is not provided by the Task Force or the City of Hayward.

For volunteer registration and other information, go online here, or contact the Hayward Maintenance Services Department at (510) 881-7745, or email at KHCG@hayward-ca.gov
