CASE SYNOPSIS

RECOVERED HANDGUN: On 09/10/2024 at 3:50 PM, officers located an unoccupied stolen vehicle near the 600 block of Southland Mall Dr. Prior to recovering the vehicle, officers saw two men get inside the car. As officers attempted an enforcement stop, both subjects fled the scene on foot. Officers ran after the driver who stopped fleeing and was taken into custody. A search incident to arrest revealed a loaded handgun. (Report #: 2024-051417)  

ROBBERY: On 09/12/2024 at 5:33 PM, the victim was walking outside near the 26000 block of Gading Rd when he was approached by two male subjects. One of the subjects brandished a weapon and demanded property from the victim. Out of fear, the victim gave the subjects his property and the subjects fled the scene on foot. (Report #: 2024-051898) 

SHOOTING: On 09/12/2024 at 11:34 PM, officers responded to the report of a shooting near the 2000 block of Bal Harbor Ln. Officers arrived on scene and located evidence of a shooting. No shooting victims were located at the scene or nearby hospitals. (Report #: 2024-051957) 

RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE: On 09/14/2024 at 3:16 PM, officers located an occupied stolen vehicle near the intersection of Santa Clara Way and Harder Rd. Officers conducted a high-risk vehicle stop and took the driver into custody. (Report #: 2024-052281)
