Hayward City Council to hold special recognition of departing City Manager Kelly McAdoo—7 p.m. Tuesday, April 30
The Hayward City Council will hold a special meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Council Chambers on the second floor of City Hall to recognize the contributions of City Manager Kelly McAdoo upon her departure from the City of Hayward.
McAdoo announced her resignation in February. She is leaving to join the City of Santa Barbara as that city’s Chief Administrator, bringing to a close 13 years of service to the City of Hayward and the last eight in the role of chief executive as City Manager.
Earlier this week, the City Council approved a contract to elevate Assistant City Manager Dustin Claussen, the City’s former Finance Director, to the role of Interim City Manager until the completion of an executive search and appointment of a permanent successor to McAdoo.
McAdoo’s last day of service to the City will be Friday, May 3.
