Libraries are a vital resource for teens. Libraries provide access to resources that will help teens succeed in school and life. The Hayward Library provides a safe place for local teens to learn, play, and grow.

Teen volunteers

Teen Volunteer Opportunities

Students ages 13 & up can volunteer as a Student Friend of Hayward Library to help with tasks such as cleaning, material preparation, book reviewing, or supporting the annual Summer Reading Challenge.
