CASE SYNOPSIS

ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON: On 01/01/2024 at 4:48 PM, officers responded to the report of an assault with a deadly weapon near the 21000 block of Hesperian Blvd. The suspect, who struck two victims with a blunt object, was located at the scene and was taken into custody. The victims declined medical attention at the scene. (Report #: 2024-000138) 

 

BURGLARY: On 01/05/2024 at 1:15 AM, officers respond to the report of a burglary in progress near the 22000 block of Hathaway Ave. Employees on scene held one of the suspects down until officers arrived and took the man into custody. (Report #: 2024-000819) 

 

ROBBERY: On 01/05/2024 at 8:35 PM, the suspect walked into the victim business near the 22000 block of Mission Blvd. The suspect selected items from the store and left without making any attempt to pay for the items. When approached by staff, the suspect brandished a knife and taser. The suspect fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction (Report #: 2024-000974) 

 

ATTEMPTED CARJACKING/FELONY EVASION: On 01/06/2024 at 4:01 PM, officers attempted to pull a vehicle over for a moving violation when it fled at a high rate of speed near the intersection of Mission Blvd and D St. Officers did not chase the vehicle but did an area check in the area it was last seen fleeing. Officers located the car a short distance away after it collided into several vehicles and stopped. The driver fled on foot and attempted to forcibly take several other vehicles traveling along the roadway. The man jumped through the window of a moving vehicle, which prompted the driver to stop the car. Officers then took the man into custody. (Report #: 2024-001145)
