Pimentel Place, a new affordable housing complex at 22648 Second Street in Hayward, is accepting applications from low-income families until next Monday, July 15.

Developed by nonprofit housing organization EAH Housing, Pimentel Place offers modern one, two, and three-bedroom apartments with energy-efficient appliances. Community amenities include on-site laundry, bicycle parking, a children’s play area, and indoor and outdoor community spaces.

Of the 57 units, 15 are reserved for households with people experiencing chronic homelessness and will include on-site support services. Two units are designated for East Bay Innovations through referral. Thirty-nine units are assigned as general affordable housing, with income requirements ranging from 30 percent to 80 percent of the Area Median Income for Alameda County.

Interested applicants can download and submit an application through the County Housing Portal at https://housing.acgov.org or call (510) 954-6006 to request a paper application. For questions about the application process and eligibility, contact the property management office at PIM-management@eahhousing.org or visit the property website here.
