Citizenship Classes

Our Citizenship classes are designed to help adult immigrants successfully complete the U.S. naturalization process. Participants will develop English language skills, gain civics knowledge, and practice for the naturalization interview.

Virtual Citizenship Class

The class will cover the following topics:

  • Rights and responsibilities of U.S. Citizenship
  • Eligibility Requirements for U.S. Citizenship
  • The N-400 Form and Application Process
  • Civics and English Test
  • Strategies for Communicating in the Interview

Small Group Tutoring Sessions

  • Meet in person at the Downtown Library
  • Bilingual support in English and Spanish
  • Practice English reading, writing, and speaking skills for the citizenship interview

All participants will receive free textbooks and class supplies. The eight-week series will be offered at various times throughout the year.
