Hayward Police Activities League (Hayward PAL) is part of our mission to enhance the quality of life in Hayward by focusing on being proactive and prevention-oriented in the community to develop cooperation, coordination, and relationships between youth, police and community through recreation and cultural enrichment.
Engaging Kids, Cops & Community
Police Activities Leagues (PAL) is a nationwide membership program dedicated to providing mentorship, service, athletics, recreational enrichment, educational opportunities and resources to kids in every community. In the Summer of 2022 the Hayward Police Department proudly joined the over 140 cities and counties in California who are apart of California PAL, the first state PAL Program and the largest PAL program in the country.
Since it's beginning in 1971, California PAL served nearly half a million youth and their families throughout the state and we are excited to add Hayward youth to that growing number. Learn more about California PAL ⇒
