HPD Community Advisory Panel - Dissolved
The purpose of the Community Advisory Panel is to improve trust and strengthen understanding between the Hayward Police Department and Hayward community members by creating a structure and venue for open and honest dialogue on police-community relations in the City.
Council Public Safety Committee (PSC) established as a permanent body in December 12, 2023, is intended to enhance transparency and awareness around public safety matters within the Hayward community. The Committee undertakes the responsibility of reviewing and evaluating items related to public safety, in partnership with the Fire and Police Departments, that prioritize the safety, security and well-being of Hayward residents.
