Free Community-wide Earth Day Celebration

Come enjoy a free and informative Earth Day Celebration to be held in the beautiful Hayward City Hall Rotunda on Sunday, April 23 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. 

Featuring:

• Live music by the MJ Collective
• Spirited presentations from Hayward Mayor Mark Salinas, District 2 Supervisor Elisa Márquez, Hayward Chamber of Commerce President Frank Feral, the CSUEB Environmental Studies Department, Salvation Army's Justin Holbert, Chuck Horner - Senior Pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church, Velda Goe - Owner of Fayeth Gardens
• Hear about climate change on the other side of the globe from our hosted guest, Dr. Denis Muthoni of the Co-operative University of Kenya, who flew in just to meet you!
• Bring the kids to meet Mother Nature in our Kids Korner; where Park Elementary's Danielle Alexander, Heidi and Ocean Yount will be happy to greet you! 

We will be featuring some other special guests you may already know who want to share their insights about Earth Day with you; including but not limited to the Hayward Rotary Club, the Alameda County Resource Conservation District, Hayward Realtor Karen Allen, NuNus Desserts, as well as Ashay by the Bay Children's Bookstore and Back to Nature Wellness and Skincare; who will have some great Earth Day discounts for you!
