City Hall Closure: Hayward City Hall Offices will be closed from Monday, November 25, 2024, through Friday, November 29, 2024, and Monday, December 23, 2024, through Friday, January 3, 2025. Any new applications and resubmittals received during the closure will be processed when offices reopen to regular operating hours on Monday, December 2, 2024, and Monday, January 6, 2024.

Building DivisionThe Building Division serves Hayward's residents and business community by ensuring that all buildings in the City are safe. We do this by reviewing preliminary drawings for code compliance and verifying quality of work during construction. |
