Downtown Hayward Public Wifi
Hayward’s publically accessible Wi-Fi system has been upgraded! The new gigabit service provides free wireless internet access in Hayward’s historic downtown district now at faster speeds.
The Wi-Fi system extends from City Hall north east along B Street to Foothill Boulevard with multiple access points on nearby street lights. The City plans to expand the free Wi-Fi to the new 21st Century Library and Heritage Plaza which are currently under construction.
The next time you visit Downtown Hayward look for the wireless network called “Downtown_Hayward” and try it out!
