Obtain a Certificate of Residence

Upon presentation of valid proof of identification and residence, the City Clerk will provide a Certificate of Residence verifying the individual's residence. The fee is $15. 

Valid Proof of Identification includes:

  • Passport (U.S. or foreign)
  • California Driver’s License or California Identification Card
  • Other picture identification such as employee identification card

Valid Verification of Residence:

  • Property tax record
  • Mortgage statement
  • Utility statement with name of individual as owner or responsible party
