Induction Cooktop Loaner Set

Electric Induction Cooktops are a safer, more energy-efficient option for everyday stovetop cooking. They heat twice as fast and have better temperature control than a gas stove. Using an induction cooktop also eliminates a major source of air pollution in your home. 


Want to test out an induction cooktop yourself? 

The City of Hayward and East Bay Community Energy are excited to announce that residents can check out a portable induction cooktop and cookware (see photo above) at no cost for up to two weeks! Residents can fill out this interest form (see below) to get on the cooktop loan waiting list. After filling out the interest form, a staff member will get back to you to schedule your cooktop loaner.  

All residents who participate in the cooktop loaner program must sign a waiver. If you do not have access to a printer, a hardcopy will be available when you checkout your induction cooktop loaner.
