Hayward Boulevard Feasibility Study

Creating a Friendly Corridor for Pedestrians, Bicyclists, Transit and Motorists

After being put on hold during the COVID-19 Pandemic, the City has restarted the Hayward Boulevard Feasibility Study in 2024. The City is working to implement striping improvements as part of repaving of Hayward Boulevard that is planned for summer and fall 2025. The current project extents are on Hayward Blvd between Carlos Bee Blvd and Farm Hill Rd.

Upcoming Meetings:

Staff will present the updated plans to the Council Infrastructure and Airport Committee on February 26, 2025. Meeting details will be added as they are finalized.
