Summary:

The dissolution of the Russell City Services District is being recommended to the Alameda County Board of Supervisors by County Administrator Earl Strathman. This move is prompted by the impending redevelopment of the Russell Cty area, which renders the district superfluous. Strathman points to a state-enacted district reorganization act of 1965 as the mechanism for dissolution.
