5th Annual Tennyson All America Festival kicks off City of Hayward Independence Day celebrations

HAYWARD, Calif., June 25, 2018—The 5th Annual Tennyson All America Festival will take place 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 30, at Hayward Area Recreation and Park District’s Mt. Eden Mansion, 2451 W. Tennyson Road, in the heart of South Hayward.
Hosted by the Tennyson Community Committee, the Annual Tennyson All America Festival offers greater Hayward an opportunity to get an early start celebrating Independence Day and the 242nd birthday of the United States.
Admission is free, and activities and attractions will include music, food, refreshments, a bike rodeo, activities for children and opportunities to learn about community resources. Free bike repairs will be available along with free helmets and backpacks to the first 100 attendees.
The All America Festival reflects an objective of the City Council’s Tennyson Corridor Strategic Initiative—to increase city-sponsored events and projects in the Tennyson community to create a more cohesive sense of place. For more event information, call (510) 881-6700.
