CASE SYNOPSIS

Attempted Robbery: On 03/12/2023, 8:44 AM, the victim was walking near the 500 block of A St when he was approached by two suspects armed with knives. The suspects assaulted the victim but were unable to take property from him. The suspects fled the scene on foot. (Report #2023-13806)

Vehicle Burglary: On 03/13/2023 at 8:50 AM, the victim caught two suspects breaking into his vehicle near the 25000 block of Hayward Blvd. When the victim approached the suspects, one of them brandished a firearm and fled the scene in a vehicle with some of the victim’s property.  (Report #2023-13961)

Recovered Embezzled Vehicle: On 03/14/2023, at 6:39 PM, officers located an occupied embezzled rental vehicle near the 2000 block of Whipple Rd. A vehicle stop was conducted, and the driver was taken into custody. (Report #2023-14339)

Shooting:  On 03/16/2023, at 5:45 AM, officers responded to the report of a shooting near the 26000 block of Gading Rd. Officers arrived on scene and located evidence of a shooting. No suspects were located, and no victims with injuries were reported. (Report #2023-14635)
