Sandbags are available to residents and businesses located in the incorporated areas of Hayward. Not sure if you are in the incorporated area of Hayward - check your address here.

When wet weather is expected, staff prepares sandbags for resident pick up. Up to six sandbags are available to Hayward households and 12 sandbags for Hayward businesses prior to and during rain storms. The bags are free of charge. Please bring your ID, Address verification may be required.

During inclement weather, a self-service sandbag station is located in the parking lot at 16 Barnes Court 24/7.  Pre-filled sandbags are replenished during regular business hours M-F 7:00am - 2:30pm.  If the pre-filled inventory runs out, there are supplies available for residents to make their own.

Loading assistance is available upon request during regular business hours. Call (510) 881-7745 during normal business hours M-F 7:00am - 2:30pm to request assistance.
