Referral Process: Cohort model Call first for availability (510) 634-4750 M-F 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. for daytime – Resource Center open for everyone. Winter nightly shelter is for permanent residents only. To be considered must come Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. for raffle for a permanent registration bed. For non-permanent guests arrive 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. for raffle for one-night bed Monday – Sunday.
Eligibility: Adults 18+; Guests must be able to care for themselves (i.e. transfer, toilet, eat, get up from the floor, and dress); Pets okay if they are on leash or in a crate.
Additional Information: Please only enter on the Grove Way entrance. Doors open from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. for everyone. However, 6:30 p.m., dinner is served. Check-in ends at 8 p.m. Bagged breakfast served. Must be off property by 7 a.m. There is the possibility to park and live in your car on site but need prior registration. Showers are Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
