CASE SYNOPSIS

RECOVERED HANDGUN: On 08/04/2024 at 2:40 AM, officers conducted a vehicle stop for equipment violations near the intersection of 2nd  St and A St. A record check of the driver revealed him to be on searchable probation. A search of the car was done, and two loaded handguns were located, one of which was reported as stolen. The occupants were arrested for various weapons charges. (Report #: 2024-043325)  

ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON: On 08/05/2024 at 1:10 AM, the victim and suspect got into an argument near the 22000 block of Main St. During the argument, the suspect assaulted the victim with a deadly weapon and fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival. The victim received treatment at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. (Report #: 2024-043479) 

RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE: On 08/08/2024 at 7:25 PM, the victim saw a man trying to break into his home near the 28000 block of Miranda St and confronts him. The man assaulted the victim and fled the area. Officers responded to the area and located the man a short distance a way. The man was taken into custody without incident. (Report #: 2024-044409) 

ROBBERY: On 08/09/2024 at 10:05 PM, the victim was walking outside near the 27000 block of Bruno St when he was approached by two subjects in a vehicle. One of the subjects got out of the car and brandished a handgun while the other waited in the car. The armed subject took property from the victim and then both subjects then fled the scene in the vehicle. (Report #: 2024-044642)
