Winton Ave/D St and Tennyson Corridors Signal Timing Upgrade

Traffic signal next to a traffic sign that says: Winton Ave/D St and Tennyson Corridors Signal Timing Upgrade

The project includes the implementation of adaptive signal timing at intersections along Winton Avenue/D Street and Tennyson Road corridors. Adaptive signal timing improves traffic flow and reduces emissions by responding to changing traffic conditions and shortening the vehicle idling time. It can also be used for speed management strategies by encouraging safe and consistent vehicle speeds.

In addition, the project will install fiber optic communications on Winton Avenue/D Street and upgrade detection along specific intersections on both corridors.
