Save the Date: 36th Annual Citywide Clean-Up & Community Fair on April 27
Hayward’s 36th Annual Citywide Clean-Up & Community Fair will take place on Saturday, April 27, 2019, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Residents are invited to join their fellow community members in picking up litter throughout the City, followed by a free barbecue lunch and community fair hosted at Weekes Park.
The Annual Citywide Clean-Up is part of “Hayward Celebrates Earth Day 2019,” a collection of events and activities hosted in the spirit of Earth Day (April 22). Like the Annual Citywide Clean-Up, the other Earth Day activities, including the Environmental Awards and the Poster & Writing Contest, focus on celebrating Hayward and the steps our community members take every day to maintain its beauty and environmental health.
