SunShares 2017 Deadline is November 10

October 13, 2017

Have you been thinking about going solar or getting an electric vehicle? This is a good time.

Hayward has teamed up again this year with other Bay Area cities and the Business Council on Climate Change to provide SunShares, a solar and EV group-purchasing (bulk buy) program. The deadline to sign up is November 10, 2017. When you sign up, you will recieve no-obligation consultations and quotes starting at 15% below market rates.

SunShares pools the buying power of individual participants to get more competitive pricing from solar and EV companies, making going solar easier and more affordable than ever for residents. This year's SunShares program is available to participants throughout the Bay Area, offering homeowners the opportunity to receive a discounted price on the purchase or lease of solar for their homes as well as for electric vehicles. The vendors are selected by a community evaluation committee following a competitive RFP process.
