Public meetings of the Hayward City Council, and all Council committees, City commissions and task forces are now being held on the Zoom webinar and teleconference platform to make online public access and participation easier.

In March, coronavirus forced a suspension of in-person meetings of City governing and advisory bodies—one that is expected to continue for months to come.

With the move to Zoom that began Sept. 3, public meetings of all City governing and advisory bodies will take place virtually, allowing people to attend and provide live public comment online.

All meetings also will be streamed live on YouTube.  And meetings of the full City Council and Planning Commission will continue to be broadcast on KHRT cable TV channel 15 and its corresponding live-stream available here on the City’s website, www.hayward-ca.gov.

For the schedule of upcoming meetings and information about how to attend, use the City of Hayward Calendar of Events under Upcoming Events at www.hayward-ca.gov.  Meeting agendas and staff reports, as well as video recordings of past meetings, are available on the Meeting & Agenda Center, which is reachable through the Meetings & Agendas button also at www.hayward-ca.gov.
