E-Permits Portal Down For Upgrades:

Also, payments will not be able to be made online, though physical checks could be dropped off at the Permit Center on the first floor of City Hall, 777 B Street, during business hours from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday or mailed to the appropriate contacts.

Residential Parking Permit

The Residential Parking Permit Program (RPPP) is meant to provide parking availability for those who live in residential areas that have a consistently high volume of non-resident parking. For more information on the RPPP, please contact Public Works-Transportation at (510) 583-4730.

Established Parking Permit Areas:

If you live in a currently established parking permit area and would like to be apply for a parking permit, please visit hayward.permitinfo.net. Data Ticket is the vendor the City has contracted with to provide this service.

You will be required to set up an account, which will require adding your vehicle information, name, phone number, email address, and selecting your address. Additionally, you will be required to select a password so you may access your account in the future for renewals, vehicle changes, etc.

You will need to upload proof of residency in order to request and receive parking permits. Upon review and verification of your proof of residency and vehicle registration, your permit(s) will be mailed to you within 7 business days. You will also be able to print out temporary permits to be displayed in your windshield until your permanent permit(s) arrive.
