The City of Hayward and Alameda County want your feedback on housing issues as part of an action-oriented report called Regional Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice.

Your feedback will help guide housing policy and goals in Alameda County, and can be provided via an online survey being carried for the Alameda County Housing and Community Development Department and a consortium of Alameda County cities, which includes Hayward.

Specifically, the gathering of survey responses is essential for the County and consortium cities to continue to qualify to receive certain federal grant funds available to state and local governments for affordable-housing acquisition, rehabilitation and new construction, and tenant-based rental assistance programs.

The online survey—estimated to take about 10 to 15 minutes to complete—is available in English, Spanish and Traditional Chinese until Aug 30. Paper versions may be available in Tagalog, Vietnamese and additional languages by contacting (510) 238-6468. Please share the online survey with others. If you are having trouble viewing the survey online or would like assistance due to a disability, please contact (510) 238-5219.
