How to watch Hearts of Hayward Volunteer Awards and Recognition Event
The Stack | April 2025
The annual Hearts of Hayward Volunteer Awards and Recognition Event will be streamed live on the City of Hayward YouTube channel starting at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 24.
Previously held in October of each year in the big white tent at St. Rose Hospital, Hearts of Hayward has been moved to spring to coincide with National Volunteer Week, which is celebrated annually during the third week of April.
The 2025 installment of Hearts of Hayward is taking place as a limited-capacity free event on the evening of April 24 at City Hall in the City Council legislative chambers and City Hall Rotunda—with a special livestream of the proceedings available on the City’s YouTube channel.
A production of the City of Hayward, the office of the Alameda County District 2 Supervisor and the Hearts of Hayward event committee, the gathering is an opportunity each year for local government and Hayward nonprofit organizations to highlight the contributions of community volunteers.
