Join the Clean and Green  Commission (formerly Keep Hayward Clean and Green Task Force)  and other community members during the next clean-up and beautification event in the Harder area on Saturday, June 28, from 8 a.m. to noon.

To participate, meet at Eden Greenway Park, 25625 Cypress Ave., at 8 a.m. The group will be picking up litter and reporting blight along Cypress Avenue, Harder Road, Gading Road, Huntwood Avenue and Underwood Avenue.

Keep Hayward Clean and Green events provide residents a chance to make a real significant difference in their neighborhoods, connect with neighbors, get credit for community service hours and learn about money-saving programs that also support the environment.

Follow this link to register for free. Same day registration will be available at the event starting at 8 a.m.  Adult supervision is not provided by the City, and all volunteers under age 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult.
