Hayward Public Library is partnering with the San Francisco Opera to bring two live performances of Bohème out of the Box, an abridged one-hour version of the famous opera La Bohème, to Heritage Plaza across from the Downtown Library at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, and Sunday, June 29.

This special event is entirely free of charge and an extraordinary opportunity to enjoy world-class opera al fresco in the City of Hayward.

There also will be a 30-minute children’s program starting at 1:30 p.m. where children are encouraged to bring a stuffed animal or doll and have fun learning about opera and getting to dance to “Musetta’s Walz,” one of the most famous melodies in all of opera.

For more about the show, visit the Bohème out of the Box page on the San Francisco Opera website here.
