Homicide Investigation – 900 block of W. Tennyson Road
HAYWARD, Calif., On Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at about 10:25 P.M., officers responded to the report of a shooting near the 900 block of W. Tennyson Road.
Officers arrived on scene and discovered two shooting victims.
The first victim, a 15-year-old male and Hayward resident, was treated by medical personnel but was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The second victim, a 37-year-old male and resident of Hayward, was transported to a local hospital where he received medical treatment for non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the shooting.
The identities of both victims are being withheld at this time.
There is currently no one in custody for this incident.
This is an active investigation and additional details will be released as they become available.
