Fatal Collision – Tennyson Rd/Lustig Ct
HAYWARD, Calif., On Friday Apr. 19, 2024, at approximately 10:23 p.m., officers responded to the report of a collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle near the intersection of Tennyson Rd and Lustig Ct.
Officers arrived on scene and found both parties still on scene.
The pedestrian, a 56-year-old male, was found unresponsive and had sustained injuries related to the collision. Medical personnel responded and pronounced the man deceased at the scene.
The driver, a 29-year-old female is cooperative with the investigation and did not sustain injuries as a result of the collision.
The identities of the involved parties are being withheld at this time, pending notifications to next of kin and formal identification protocols by the Alameda County Coroner’s Office.
It is not believed drugs or alcohol are a factor in this collision.
