CASE SYNOPSIS

ATTEMPTED CARJACKING: On 07/22/2024 at 1:34 AM, the victim was asleep inside his home near the 800 block of W. Winton Ave when he heard noises outside. The victim saw two males attempting to steal his vehicle. The victim tried to stop the theft and was assaulted by the two men. The men then fled the scene in a vehicle. (Report #: 2024-040291)  

ROBBERY: On 07/22/2024 at 5:00 AM, the victim was sitting in his vehicle near the 27000 block of Tampa Ave when he was approached by a man. The man brandished a weapon and demanded property from the victim. In fear, the victim complied, gave property to the man, and the man fled the scene in a vehicle. (Report #: 2024-040315) 

ROBBERY: On 07/26/2024 at 11:59 PM, two males entered the victim business near the 27000 block of Hesperian Blvd. The men took items from the store and used force when approached by store employees to leave the store. The men then fled the scene in a vehicle. The subject’s license plate was captured, and a record check revealed the car to be stolen. (Report #: 2024-041485) 

SHOOTING: On 07/27/2024 at 5:45 PM, officers responded to the report of a shooting near the 22000 block of Foothill Blvd. Officers arrived on scene and located one victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The suspects fled the scene prior to officers' arrival. The victim was transported to a local medical facility where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. (Report #: 2024-041628)
