CASE SYNOPSIS

RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE: On 11/25/2024 at 4:41 PM, officers located a vehicle driving recklessly in the area of W. A St and Garden Ave. Before officers could perform a vehicle stop the vehicle collided with a parked vehicle and fence then fled the area. Officers later located the occupied vehicle near the dead end of Winton Ave and a record check determined the vehicle was stolen. Officers conducted a vehicle stop and took the driver into custody. (Report #2024-067477)  

CARJACKING: On 11/27/2024 at 11:04 PM, officers responded to the report of a carjacking near the 200 block of W. A St. The victim was inside his home when he heard his vehicle alarm sounding. The victim went outside and saw three male subjects in and around his vehicle. He confronted the subjects who then produced a firearm and pointed it at him, demanding keys. The victim complied with the subjects who took the vehicle and fled the scene(Report #2024-067957) 

ROBBERY: On 11/29/2024 at 12:47 PM, the victim was standing outside near the 700 block of La Playa Dr when he was approached by two male subjects. The subjects used force and took property from the victim. A witness tried to call the police, but the subjects then used force and took property from the witness/victim, including the victim’s cell phone. The subjects then fled the scene in a vehicle. (Report #2024-061875) 

GRAND THEFT: On 11/30/2024 at 8:53 AM, two female subjects entered the victim business near the 26000 block of Mission Blvd. The subjects took merchandise and fled the scene in a vehicle without paying for the items. Officers responded to the area, located the subjects, conducted a vehicle stop, and took them into custody. The merchandise was recovered and returned to the business. (Report #2024-068312)
