Significant Incidents

Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Reckless Evading: On 11/23/2025 at 9:00AM, officers located a felony vehicle on the 25000 block of Carlos Bee Blvd, that is wanted in connection to several mail thefts. As officers approached the driver, he intentionally rammed a patrol vehicle and fled. HPD pursued the vehicle into Fremont; Fremont PD then pursued the vehicle into Dublin. CHP took over the pursuit in Dublin where the driver then drove EB in the WB lanes of Hwy i580 and lost the vehicle in Livermore. On 11/25/2025 at 6:37PM, Livermore PD located the vehicle unoccupied and contacted HPD for the vehicle to be towed. Case 2025-67606 

Robbery (Firearm): On 11/24/2025 at 2:03PM, the victim attempted to sell a ring through an online marketplace and met the subject at the HPD parking lot. They drove to Southland Mall to appraise the jewelry, and while returning to the police department, the subject pulled out a firearm and demanded the jewelry. The subject fled WB Winton to i880. Case 2025-67829

Robbery (Strong Arm): On 11/24/2025 at 4:48PM, the victim is a security guard who was conducting a patrol check in the parking lot near B St and Foothill when he encountered a juvenile male looking inside parked vehicles. The subject struck the victim on the back of the head, took his hat, and fled the area. No injuries reported. Case 2025-67870

Robbery (Knife): On 11/24/2025 at 5:36PM, the victim was walking on Montgomery St near Simon St when a male subject, who was riding a bike and wearing a black mask, approached the victim with a knife and demanded his belongings. The victim feared for his life and didn’t move while the subject searched the victim’s pocket and stole a large amount of money. The subject fled on his bike. Case 2025-67874
