Trees that are pruned in manner that is prohibited in accordance with Tree Preservation Ordinance Section 10-15.20. If you would like to keep the disfigured tree that is under the City review including Code Enforcement cases, please follow the following procedure:

1. Please submit the arborist assessment and recommended action plan for restorative pruning and care of the subject tree including duration (years) for restorative pruning, frequency, and detailed care by the home owner. 

2. You will also need to have your arborist to perform post-pruning inspection and submit the written post-inspection report to the City. Pruning must be performed by a tree professional company that has at least one full time certified arborist on staff with a tree pruning permit from the City.  

3. If you agree to the terms, get that approved by the HOA in writing. You will need to submit a signed commitment letter to the City stating that you will follow the recommended action plan and all required documents listed above.
