Mary joined the City in 2011 through the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) Management Fellowship Program in the Office of the City Manager.

Since then, she has served as an analyst for Human Resources, Public Works and Fire before returning to the City Manager’s Office in 2020 as a Senior Management Analyst.

Mary holds a Master of Public Policy degree with a focus in local administration from Mills College in Oakland and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies from Wesleyan University in Connecticut.
