The Testing Center, at Hayward Fire Station #7, 28270 Huntwood Avenue, will reopen at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, returning to its regular operating schedule of Tuesday through Sunday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., or until the maximum number of COVID-19 tests available for the day are exhausted.

The Hayward COVID-19 information hotline, (510) 583-4949, will return to its regular operating schedule at 8 a.m. Monday and be available daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The hotline call center provides information and referrals on COVID-19 and supportive resources for local residents and businesses, as well as updates on how the City is adjusting and responding to the public health emergency.

The COVID-19 Testing Center is free and open to anyone regardless of where they live or immigration status.  No doctor referral is required.  However, testing is available only to people age 12 and above with COVID-19 symptoms and a fever over 100 degrees.  Symptoms include cough and shortness of breath.
