Hayward companies selected as finalists for East Bay Innovation Awards

A panel of subject matter experts scored more than 100 nominations and selected 22 finalists across four competitive award categories including: Catalyst, Community Impact, Manufacturing and Product or Technology. Among these, two Hayward companies were selected as finalists: 

Veev (Manufacturing): Veev is a modular homebuilding company that uses prefabrication, advanced materials and digital technology to construct homes more efficiently. Veev streamlines the home construction process by reducing build times, costs and environmental impact. Their patented panelized construction system is designed to increase efficiency and sustainability and offer high-quality, energy-efficient homes that meet modern housing demands. Veev’s methods provide scalable solutions that redefine how homes are built and delivered.   

Endiatx (Product or Technology): Endiatx invented PillBotTM, a micro-robotic technology designed for medical diagnostics, specifically in the gastrointestinal system. PillBot is an ingestible disposable robotic capsule with cameras and sensors that navigates the human digestive tract, providing real-time imaging and diagnostics from inside the body. It is designed as a non-invasive alternative to traditional endoscopic procedures.
