Fatal Collision – Hesperian Blvd/Turner Ct
HAYWARD, Calif., On Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at about 6:16 AM, officers responded to the report of a collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle near the intersection of Hesperian Blvd and Turner Ct.
Officers and medical personnel arrived on scene and located both parties involved in the collision.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured and was cooperative during the investigation.
Medical personnel responded to treat the unresponsive pedestrian. The pedestrian, a 35-year-old male, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The identity of the pedestrian is known, however is being withheld at this time, pending notifications to the next of kin.
This is an active investigation and additional details will be released as they become available.
