Hayward Electricity Accounts Transitioned to 100% Renewable Energy in January 2022
In January 2022, most Hayward customers served by Ava Community Energy (formerly East Bay Community Energy) transitioned to energy that is 100 percent renewable, sourced entirely from California solar and wind energy.
