Hayward downtown summer street parties return Aug. 18
All of Hayward is invited to celebrate summer 2022 with the return of the Chamber of Commerce-led Downtown Hayward Street Party from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18.
The event will have all of the elements Hayward residents have come to expect from the Street Party Series over the past 20 years: lively bands, a variety of food, vendors, classic cars and family fun.
Entertainment will include the Hayward-born band Third Sol playing its bled of Latin, soul and funk music at the event’s beer and wine garden along with the band Patron. The group The Flow will entertain at Newman Park, at the corner of B Street and Mission Boulevard.
The iconic Car Show also will return to Main Street, featuring 100 hotrods and other classic cars.
The Street Party is made possible through a partnership of the Hayward Chamber of Commerce, the Downtown Hayward Improvement Association and the City of Hayward.
