CASE SYNOPSIS

Attempted Robbery: On 07/28/2022, at 2:53 PM, the victim was approached by two suspects near the 27000 block of Tampa Ave. The suspects brandished a firearm and used force to take property from the victim. One of the suspects dropped the property as they fled the scene in a vehicle. (Report #2022-041601)

Firearm Recovery: On 07/29/2022, at 10:51 PM, officers conducted a vehicle stop near the 300 block of Panjon St for a vehicle that had a misdemeanor warrant attached to the license plate. During the stop, it was determined the driver had an outstanding warrant. During a search incident to arrest, suspected narcotics and a loaded firearm was located. The driver was arrested for the warrant, possession of narcotics and firearm charges. (Report #2022-042769)

Firearm Recovery: On 07/29/2022, at 10:51 PM, officers located a parked vehicle near the 1000 block of Tennyson Rd that had a seizure warrant attached to the license plate. The registered owner, who was inside a local business, hid a firearm inside the store before walking outside. The firearm was located, and the suspect was placed under arrest for firearm charges. The vehicle was also subsequently towed. (Report #2022-042778)

Robbery: On 07/30/2022, at 2:01 PM, the victim was approached by several subjects in a vehicle near the intersection of Winton Ave and Alice St. The suspects brandished a firearm and used force to take property from the victim before they fled the scene in a vehicle.  (Report #2022-42872)
