Beautify South Hayward at Weekes Park on Saturday, Aug. 23

Join the Clean and Green Commission and other community members for the next Keep Hayward Clean and Green clean-up and beautification event in South Hayward on Saturday, Aug. 23, from 8 a.m. to noon.
The group will meet at Weekes Park, 27182 Patrick Ave., at 8 a.m. to pick up litter and report blight around the park and in the greater Tennyson neighborhood.
Participating in Keep Hayward Clean and Green events allows residents to make a significant difference in their neighborhoods, connect with neighbors, get credit for community service hours and learn about money-saving programs that also support the environment.
Follow this link to pre-register for free. Same-day registration will be available at the event starting at 8 a.m. Adult supervision is not provided by the City, and all volunteers under age 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult.
