CASE SYNOPSIS

Carjacking On 01/08/2023, at 6:30 AM, the victim was inside his vehicle near the 1000 block of Skokie Ln when he was approached by suspect. The suspect brandished a gun in his waistband and ordered the victim out of his car. The suspect then fled the area in the victim’s vehicle. (Report #2023-001312)

Recovered Stolen Vehicle: On 01/08/2023, at 11:23 AM, officers located an occupied stolen vehicle near the intersection of W. A St and South Garden Ave. A vehicle stop was conducted, and the driver was taken into custody. (Report #2023-001338)

Burglary: On 01/09/2023, at 1:14 PM, Officers responded to the 20000 block of Hesperian Blvd regarding a burglary that just occurred. Officers located the suspect who was still in the area and took him into custody. A firearm and suspected narcotics were also recovered during the incident. (Report #2023-001546)

Recovered Stolen Vehicle: On 01/14/2023, at 9:21 PM, officers located an occupied stolen vehicle that was parked near the intersection of Cliffwood Ave and Bolero Ave. Officers contacted the driver and took him into custody. (Report #2022-73720)
