New leaders take helm at Hayward public schools, Chabot College
The governing bodies of the Hayward Unified School District and Chabot-Las Positas Community College District appointed new executive leadership for Hayward public schools and Chabot College in 2023.
Dr. Jason Reimann was named Hayward Unified School District Superintendent, and Dr. Jamal Cooks was appointed Chabot College President.
Dr. Reimann was selected by the Hayward Unified School District Board of Education as the District’s new Superintendent of Schools on June 28, 2023. To learn more about Dr. Reimann, go online here on the Hayward Unified School District to read the news release announcing his appointment.
Dr. Cooks was appointed by the Chabot-Las Positas Community College District Board of Trustees as Chabot College’s president effective Aug. 1, 2023, becoming Chabot’s 10th president. To learn more about Dr. Cooks, visit the Chabot College website here.
