Four arrested in homicide that occurred on W. A Street near South Garden Ave. in 2021

HAYWARD, Calif., June 30, 2022— On Monday Oct. 4, 2021, at about 6:50PM, officers responded to the 400 block of W. A St regarding the report of an injured male who was unconscious on the ground.

Officers and medical personnel responded to the scene and located the victim, later identified as 25-year-old Yeison Toroc, of Hayward. The victim suffered injuries consistent with being assaulted and was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

Detectives conducted an extensive investigation and, today, four suspects were taken into custody for the incident. All four suspects were arrested and booked at the Hayward PD Jail for murder and have been identified as the following:

-19-year-old Fremont resident, Cristian Inocencio

-20-year-old Hayward resident, Daniel Angulo-Armenta

-24-year-old Union City resident, Jonathan Delacruz

-27-year-old Hayward resident, Kevin Gonzalez

These arrests were made as the result of a multi-jurisdictional operation with the assistance of Union City Police Department, Fremont Police Department, Oakland Police Department and San Leandro Police Department. We want to thank each agency for their collaboration and support, which was pivotal to the success and safe outcome of this incident.
